How the Auction Advantage Works

Four Seasons Real Estate is a full service real estate brokerage located in Northwest Indiana. Our services include providing residential and commercial real estate services in Indiana and Illinois.

All properties will be selected for the auction a minimum of 30 days in advance of the auction date to provide ample opportunity to market the property and allow pre-auction inspections by potential purchasers. All purchasers who wish to bid at the auction must pre-register and will require loan pre-approvals. In most cases, the Auction will be held on site at the property.

As an Indiana Licensed Auction Company (AC30700082) working in conjunction with Bednar Auction Services with Jim Bednar (AU11000041) as the lead Auctioneer, we provide an alternative to traditional real estate marketing in an innovative way. The service is in addition to our traditional marketing and provides a competitive edge for our clients. Our Auctions will be professionally conducted by Jim Bednar who is a licensed Auctioneer in both Indiana and Illinois

Other services include real property tax analysis and appeal by an Indiana Certified Property Tax Representative, appraisal services by a Certified Residential Appraiser, and development of Self Directed IRA Trusts.

Buford L. Eddy

Buford Eddy is the founder and Principal Broker of Four Seasons Real Estate and has more than 35 years in real estate brokerage and appraising experience. Professional training of all associates of Four Seasons Real Estate is provided by Mr. Eddy who has been a Certified as a National Trainer by an International real estate franchise.

Buford Eddy is actively involved as a Director of the Greater Northwest Indiana Association of REALTORS Multiple Listing Service on the local level and a past Director of the Indiana Association of REALTORS on the State level. As a member of the local MLS,the Chicago land MLS, and the National Association of REALTORS, and the innovative and forward thinking services, Four Seasons Real Estate provides the maximum exposure and opportunity to for all their clients real estate needs.

Jim Bednar

Professional Auctioneer Jim Bednar, is owner of Bednar Auction Services, LLC.  And is the lead Auctioneer for Four Seasons Real Estate.  He is an active Member of the National, Indiana and Iowa Association of Auctioneers. Bednar is a designated “Colonel”  as a graduate of WWCA (World Wide College of Auctioneers), the school of choice by the most successful and Nationally recognized champion auctioneers. Jim Bednar is licensed in both Indiana and Illinois and has been involved with auctions on different levels for  several  years. His service includes complete liquidation of real and personal property and is also a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with Four Seasons Real Estate.
